Anyone see the boot on the Ford Ranger

Post by kevin_100 »

I never seen this before on this campus until today. It was kind of funny in a way. Just imagine what the person must of thought when they came out to get in their truck and without noticing the boot on the front wheel (left), they attempt to drive away (like Homer Simpson did).

If I came out and there was a boot on my vehical, my first words would be "son of a bitch" or "f***". I know it doesn't do any good using foul language, but it helps allievate those awkward moments in anybodys life.

I seen people approach there vehicals before oncampus and then noticed a parket ticket in there windshield wipers, which you can tell really pissed them off. Just image going to your vehical and finding a boot on it. You got to wait around for probably a good 15 minutes, or maybe 30 minutes for a police officer to come by and remove the boot and write you a ticket.

Wouldn't it be a lot simplier just to write the person a ticket? What happens after you call the police to remove the boot? Do you have to pay the ticket price and any other outstanding ticket charges that MSU has on file right up front? If not, then what is the purpose of the boot for?

I'm thinking they are wanting to apprehend the driver of the truck.

I think maybe you have to pay it before they take the boot off. Not sure though.

Yeah, they have to be wanting money. Unless campus police are just a bunch of pranksters.
