Right, so this is the new section of bearnotes. Aren't you all incredibly happy? Yes, you are. Now before you go out and make a million threads, I want you to read these, or I'll kill you, your family, and any of those good bacteria that live on your body.
The Humor Spot, or whatever we'll be calling it, is supposed to be a light hearted, more relaxed place to post.
This does not mean that it's a place to post a million threads with a common theme. That means if you have a John Kerry joke, and then you find another while you're googling for them to up your post count, then post it in that thread, you can even make it another reply. DO NOT CREATE ANOTHER THREAD ABOUT IT.
Flaming, Trolling, Whatever.
Flaming and trolling are the bane of message boards everywhere, and with good reason. The people who do this are typically annoying and deserve the response they get. However, I know that everyone needs to blow off a little steam. So, flame and troll if you want, but it'd better be funny, because nothing is worse than trying to be a big bad internet bully and not even being funny about it. It's like failing at life.
One Word Replies
I don't really care at this point. If you want to reply with "lol/jk," then go for it, I'll just pray that the God of body lice visits you. If this gets to be a giant problem, then something will be done, but I'm sure most of you have enough of a sense of humor to know when to post something like this and when to post something like "Yes, I agree that rhinoplasty is a very expensive surgery, but it can be a life changer for most Jewish women." If you don't, then get over it.
BEING INTERNET HARDCORE OMGSCARY
Your post might get edited. It might be funny. It might not. I'll be sure to leave your original message and add a little note from moi from this point on.
Creating a thread with the intent to rile certain users.
Go for it. It's pretty funny when people's panties get twisted.
