I would be, but I'm leaving for Germany next week. I am still working on campus though.

Coincidentally, the first night we had the tornado siren going off at 1:45am. Atleast I was sort of already awake.

I was at work and they had us sit out in the middle of Target. I'm sitting there thinking, don't we need to go in the restrooms or something instead of just sitting waiting for the tornado to rip off the roof and suck us away b/c there is nothing worth holding on to.

Weather Radio and storm spotters were constantly announcing: "Do not stay in a department store, gymnasium, or any other room with large, free-span ceilings. Seek shelter in a hall way, bathroom, or designated shelter area"

I was outside watching it. Lightning was awesome, although I didn't see any of the suspciously colored skies, there were a few moments of the eerie calm, and one of the storm spotters said she was noticing the green skies on I-44 out towards Webster county. I know Republic reported several uprooted trees, one guy reported a tree landing up against his house, and shortly after the storm passed they reported that the city crews were already running cleanup on our road.

You were a sacrifice to the tornado Gods. The nonexpendable employees were already tucked safely away.
