It doesn't surprise me, and that's actually one of the reasons I don't take that site seriously. It really doesn't do them any harm to accept comments like "Professor Asshat is a poop-head"* because that kind of thing is expected from college students for some reason. However, what you said is controversial, and they seem to shy away from accepting anything that could actually get them in trouble. I have no doubts that what you posted is true, and I'm glad that you've called the guy out on it, but don't expect RMP.com to be a haven for your comment; they don't have the guts for it.

(apologies to Professor Asshat, but we needed someone for an example)

ratioyourprofessor sucks! Those comments are bullshit! I am a international student, because of ryp.com, i choose serveral really assed professor.....all of them require a god damned presentation. However, the comments of ryp.com never concern about it! I must suck in this semester!!!!Crying~~~

Feel free to talk about your professors. That's one of things the Course Discussion board is for. However please remember, as BN was not designed for this purpose, you will not be anonymous (your screen name any any info in your profile will always be available, whereas RYP protects this information through unsigned posts).

Any information I have, including IP numbers, will not be made available without legal orders, however any information you make public could possibly cause trouble if you give a teacher a bad review. This is merely meant as a disclaimer that I hold no responsibility for the results of any posts you may make.

This website is run by Paco103. SMS does not pay any money to help with this site. The reason for this is they would censor our speech and make this a dull place to talk.

SMSU has no affiliation of this website. I am just a student, and this year this website and the servers it runs on are funded and managed by me. No SMSU faculty or staff have access to any non-public information.

As long as Radie Bunn does not know who "Sam" is (which may cause bias when you're getting graded) and cannot figure it out through your public infomation and other posts, then you are safe. I will not disclose any information without a legal court order, which would not happen just because you said that someone is a poop head

I've taken shots at professors before, and I've never had any problems, but the one professor I've had a problem with was a CIS professor that I'm not so sure could even navigate a message board, so that puts me as safe.

Besides, what exactly do you think that a Prof could do, as long as they truely are an Asshat... or a poophead... then they have no grounds for slander, or lible, as it is.
