Labor Day "Vacation?"

Post by rchif0 »

Am I the only one that stuck around campus this weekend? I've been spending most of my time turning SMS into a national football powerhouse in NCAA Football 2005. It's pretty quiet around these parts.

Yeah, most of the people I hang out with took a trip down to AR to see a friend down there. I would have gone but it's an all-girl dorm at a strict baptist school, so I'd have no place to stay. Although since they're all girls that I hang out with all the time, it's kind of weird having a guys-only weekend.

Funny thing is I kept saying I need more male friends (such as when I wind up in the 'girl talk'). . . now it's all that's left and I'm bored!

I have a diverse friendship range, and sometimes the "girl talk" is instigated by "guy talk" I've found.

Sometimes guys have this tendency to talk about guy things and forget that girls couldn't give a lesser shit about what we're talking about. Case in point.

Whenever me and Corey start talking about car stereo nonesense, building speaker boxes, amps, new head units, quite frequently his girlfriend gets fed up and likes to start talking out-loud about how heavy last month's flow was.

Yeah... but I guess paco hears that constantly... *cringe* you poor bastard.

Yeah, I know way more about that than ANY man should. I understand your point though. And if I'm talking about stereo's and computers, then I don't think it's unfair for her to start rambling about shoes and American Idol - but until I start talking about . . . heck, what could a guy go off talking about that compares to the "flow" ?

she had very low tolerance to most things, so that's prolly just her, but it always started every girl at the table talking about weird bloody chunks an... *barf*... scuse me, ya know chain reaction.
