Indeed, I'd like to welcome you all back as well, and now that Chet is gone, someone give me a something to mod, I don't think we'll ever see anything in current events again, oh well... Hope everyone got all they wanted for Christmas, Chanukah, and Lesbian Quanza, in your case Paula. Hurah!

Someone sent e-mail to me and told me Bearnotes would be closed on Jan.1st,2005! But now......bearnotes survives!Wonderful....

We need develope it as the platform for sms studnents' communication!So, think about it!

I think this is a really hard time for the webmaster. Just so so participation, and you can't just have several old faces!

Bearnotes survival is guaranteed for at LEAST one more year. Tell your friends about it, and soon (hopefully this weekend) - I will have some graphics and code up for you to link to us from your personal web page or blog if you wish.

Anyway - I hope to soon get some new promotions running. Haven't yet decided what those will be, but I hope to get something done this weekend.

um...You should ask professors of Marketing Department for some help. I thin they will let you do better. I still remembered that how i noticed Bearnotes. It just relys on a piece of ads. Who cares a small ads? Please don't do it again! By the way, I am worried about your operational mangeement skill. Asking professors for help is a effective way! Try to do it!

uh, but, marketing isn't an exact science. There's nothing that a professor could tell you that you can't figure out yerself. Ask a Marketing major, If you know how to market, it's because you have great instincts, and the profs here obviously didn't, cause they didn't get super high paying jobs at agencies. Flyers around campus is the way to go. Maybe some kind of event. Everything else is too widespread and misses the target.

How about an actual frontpage, or better yet, some modifications to the forum to make it more entertaining?

The front page is being worked on. . . at least in theory, but I'm kind of a slacker. As for making it more entertaining, got any ideas?

Articles on the front page? Adding features to the forums? Search phpbbhacks.com. Even the most extensive hacks can be implemented in 45 minutes.
