Do you think I read too much?

Do you think I read too much?
And this is just up until midnight Thursday. Friday will bring it's own load of crap to read.

Several times a day I click through a list of bookmarks and search the White House, UN, State Department, DOD, DHS, CIA, FBI, Cato Institute, Council on Foreign Relations, GlobalSecurity.org, and a few other places in search of any new press releases, advisories, transcripts, etc.Kenshiro wrote:Nothing wrong with reading and increasing your own knowledge. Just outta curiosity, though, where do you get all of this? Various sources or one so-called "super-source"?
Then I wander off to C-SPAN and watch the press briefings at the White House and State Department for the day, and then off to the UN for the webcasts of their press briefing, as well as coverage of the UN Security Council meeting.
Once I'm bored with all that, I wander over to Human Rights Watch and a few other places, Cato and CFR once again, download the latest reports and analysis papers, usually at least 80 pages, and print those out to read later. The State Department also puts out regular issue focus reports based on foreign media reaction.
And then I constantly keep an eye on DrudgeReport.com and the AP NewsDesk (fee-based subscription) for anything which might be breaking.
On top of that, I carry a Blackberry and subscribe to breaking news alerts, as well as places like emergencye.com.
And finally, there's my list of live sources who I talk to throughout the day ... ;-)

You see, you have what some people refer to as a "life". One of the symptoms of this "life" is a daily schedule of varying activities that may or may not involve actual social interaction with other human beings.tiffybird24 wrote:my only question is how do you find time to read that much? with going to school full time, working full time, band, church, and other various activities i barely have time to sleep.
Chetreau, however, seems free of such a burden.
