Is it possible to post too many times, are there people out there with bloody stumps where there used to be fingers. Does bearnotes need a chat room?

Yes to all, except that last one because we tried that and no one showed up and it sucked being opped in an empty room.

There was a chat room?

You know, I've started hanging out in IRC-land again, but I usually don't stick around in #smsu 'cause nobody's ever in there.

I killed my autojoin to that channel because no one's ever in there and it clogs my taskbar.

There were 2 threads about the IRC chatroom, which Sam likes to communicate clearly that he had NO connection to in patronizing manners. No one came to said chatrooms. Being moderator of site plugs, I started the chatroom, and made one thread in Site Plugs, and one thread in here. No one came. Summarily, the thread in here ended with "Fuck it," because it became an attempt that was no longer worthwhile. So yes, there was a chatroom, and no, there is no longer a chatroom, and yes, it's going to be lonely in there because if no one came when we tried to get the IRC room going, they're probly not going to come when we gave up on it.

There's the reason no one came to the chatroom then.

IRC sucks.

I like IRC. I'm using IRC right now. Then again, I'm not in #smsu 'cause nobody goes there anymore.

Hence why most people don't use it. Most people who aren't total computer geeks won't get it. I used to use IRC for file-swapping with the people over at DDRUK.com, but yeah. Everyone just uses BitTorrent now, which also sucks, IMO.

I'm sorry, but when my download starts going DOWN in percentage while i'm getting a file, something is fucked up. Even P2P networks don't do that.

I hate, hate BT. It's like Satan's little helper. All if does is suck up my bandwidth and take twice as long to download from as if I had downloaded it from a server. Yes, I know about Azureus, and no I still don't like BT.

If you hate BT, never use eDonkey. It's worse than BitTorrent. None of the DLs (even on Broadband without a Bandwith cap) go over like 10k/sec. It's retarded. Plus, over half the files are queued for days on end and it eats up your system resources like a mother fucker.

Geh. Worst program EVER.
