it means that depending on what port yer P2P client uses, the university might shape the amount of D/L bandwidth you can use on that port.... it's that way on almost every port, so uh, ya might be screwed... there's a few things you can do, use Earthstation 5... it has HTTP proxies built in...

cut and dry version

you won't be able to get any decent bandwidth P2P... but you can downloading from the web browser...

I knew you were useful for something. Turned it to port 80, and damn is it moving now.
