What does everyone think about this comedian? I haven't seen "Hangin' With Mr Cooper" because well, the series was put out in 1992 and Simpsons pretty much dominated my life then. Well, other shows I liked too, like "Married With Children".
In case anyone doesn't know, by now most every sms student should have seen all the advertisements all around the campus. It is put up in every dormitory that is owned by sms including sunvilla. But anyways this guy's named "Mark Curry" which had his own spot on the comedy central present show and was on the "Drew Carray Show" a numerous of times is coming to psu.
I went to the hynotist show and it was entertaining. Not really real funny but funny enough to keep one entertained.
One part of the hynotist's show, he made the sms students believe they had a bird in their hand and made them tell what kind of bird that they were holding. What would made the show even more funny was if one of the students said in the microphone, that they were holding a "buzzard" or a "crow". It seems like everybody said they were holding a "Parakeet". Obviously, that bird is a common bird with many people. One girl said she was holding a cardinal which was alright, but saying a buzzard or a crow would have made the show that much more entertaining, in my opinion.
One part of the show the hypnotist made the students believe they were being pulled over and made them think of an excuse to get out of the ticket. After they got out of the ticket, he told the students to show your wonderful gratitude toward the generous police officer for letting the speeding go as a warning. One guy flipped the police officer off. The volume on that response was done very well. Just the birds should have been more weird-er.
But anyway, that show wasn't bad, I like the funny bone in St. Louis better though. Anyway, anybody going to check out the stand-up comic on Tuesday 31 (Mark Curry)? In your opinion do you think this comedian is as funny as Drew Carray, Ryan Stiles, and Diedrich Bader (the new jethro).

not too familiar with a mark curry from 'hangin with mr. cooper,' but the last comedian they had that i saw [jim gaffigan, played in a couple movies, most obvious to me being one of the extras that were pulled over in supertroopers] was pretty good, if i may say so myself.
scheduled system downtime at work, tuesday from 6pm on... looks like that's where i'll be.

I'm hoping it will be pretty good. Well, anyways, I get to see who this actor/comedian is and what kind of material he dishes out to deteriate audience's brain cells from laughing so hard.
It seems whether a comedian is funny or not, they usually have interesting topics to talk about which makes the show entertaining. So that is a big plus for comedians with hardly any hardcore funny topics to talk about.
To bad that smsu can't get Robert Schimmell, and/or George Carlin to perform on this campus free with student id. I know that is only dreaming, but it would be cool.
I guess smsu buying all the students a new sports car would be cool, but it won't happen.
Robert Schimmell is cool cause he brings sex into everything that he talks about. He talks about his daughter curiousity about sex with her boyfriend Stephen. And Robert Schimmell ask Stephen if he knows how to play baseball and he says yeah sure. And he'll say wanna play. Sure! Robert Schimmell grabs a bat and hits his balls as hard as possible rendering him useless of fathering any children. And then Robert Schimmell would say, your not fathering the baby of my daughter. Get the hell up and stop crying, you pussy.
This isn't no real joke but somewhat based on stuff that he does.
Other skits he does, he tells the audience about his dog. How lazy he is. How he won't go outside to piss and shit. He'll take the dog outside and he'll create a voice for the dog, hey asshole, it is cold out here. Take me back in so I can shit and hump your wife's leg some more.
Something similar to those lines, except he gets a little more explicit than that.
I'm too much of a comedian fantatic. Not a real funny person but I love comedy. I guess comedy takes a person away from all the stressful activities that life throws upon thee.
Anyway, tomorrow is the stand-up comedy show at psu.

The stand-up comedy show was funny and entertaining. I was surprised at how good he was. Robert Schimmell or George Carlin would be cooler to see, but this guy can make you laugh. First time I ever seen him perform. All I can say is "he good", "he entertaining", and "he funny".
Probably won't be no more professional comedians on the campus for free like this one. Actually that stand-up show probably wasn't free. That extra increase on the parking permits probably paid for it. And god only knows what else smsu jacks up in cost. They probably voted in some hidden nonsense fees to make even more money.
