But I guess not. What a prick. I did my Java assignment, but did it in a more advanced way because it took less time and space. I hate my professor.

Usually teachers are pleased that you're understanding it well enough to go a level above. In fact, in some classes in the CSC department - doing an assignment minimally as required is only worth an 80% - you have to go beyond the specified requirements to get an A.

That is pretty stupid though.
