If anyone is thinking of taking any sort of ANT class you have to take this guy!! He is fricking awesome. He cussess like a sailor and pissess off all the religious pricks and I love him for it. The man is pure genious. Sporadic as hell but he makes up for it by being a pretty liberal grader. He's crazy informative without being crazy difficult. The perfect proffessor my friends.

Why is it that just because someone doesn't like a person cussing like a sailer that they must be a crazy religious prick? And what is wrong with a religious person wanting to be treated with a little respect? It wasn't that long ago that talking like that in front of a person was considered disrespectful, and I still doubt you'd talk to your grandmother like that. I don't have a problem with cussing when it's used in context to emphasize or make a point, or even just an occasional filler word, but why must they be thrown in every other word? I am not much of a religious person. I am Christian, I own a bible, and I know the basics of it - that's about as far as I go. I'm far from what most people would consider a "religious prick" as you say - but cussing like that would bug me too.

Anyway - not meant to be an attack, just a question. It's awesome to know that he's a good teacher, even if his vocabulary would offend some

he sounds like a fun guy as long as he doesn't mind someone debating with him. which i'm deffinately a religious prick but i would have fun discussing different view points.

I'm an Anthro major. Zarins is definately entertaining! You'll either love him or hate him. Although for Fall 2005 he's on sabbatical.
