Is there any true coverage out there?

I didn't know Israel edits information. Imagined Israel is democracy, blah, until tripped at Jewrusalem: Israeli Uncensored News site www.jewrusalem.org/en . Did anyone heard if Israel truly doctors news or that's a name only? The news folks there seem very much cranky, taking on democrats and conservatives and everything else. Umm I never encountered such information on yahoo or wherever. Are they actually cut or what?
