My wife and daughter live 3,800 miles away at the moment, and although we talk every day, life can seem very lonely.

i know exactly how you feel, i'm not technicaly married but i know many people who will say that my boyfriend and i basically are, we have been dating for more than 4 years. he is in the Philippines right now and I only get to talk to him once a week. I know its tough but love will always works itself out.

Have you done the wonderful three-minute satellite calls where you have to shout to be heard, and the connection terminates exactly at 2 minutes 59 seconds?

Although we're still thousands of miles away, it's nice to be in the U.S. where the phones work and we're not limited to three minutes.

actually i get no phone calls whatsoever. he only gets two a year and they go to his family and if i wanted to i could spend mothers day and Christmas with is family but they are in Idaho now. So all I get are fun letters and emails.
